Last Saturday, March 22nd, Pretty Top Team made the trip down to Townsville for Aggression Thai Boxing, and what a night it was! Our Muay Thai fighters stepped into the ring ready to showcase their skills, heart, and hard work — and they did not disappoint.
Caleb Curley Claims MTQ Pro North QLD Title 🏆
The highlight of the night was Caleb’s championship fight for the MTQ Pro North Queensland title. Caleb showed incredible composure and technique, controlling the pace right from the start. In the second round, he landed a perfectly timed knee, forcing the referee to call a TKO and crowning him the new MTQ Pro North QLD Champion! An unforgettable performance from Caleb, and a well-deserved win.
Wins and Lessons for the Team
Mikey, Carlin, and Brodie all came away with victories, putting on dominant performances that highlighted their skill and determination. Each fight was a testament to the hard work these Muay Thai athletes have been putting in at the gym day in and day out.
Cameron and Brayden didn’t get the wins this time, but they fought with heart and took away valuable lessons from their time in the ring. Every fight is an opportunity to grow, and we’re proud of the grit they showed.
Muay Thai Growth & Development
It wasn’t just the fighters representing PTT. Coach Myles took on the role of commentator for the livestream, providing insight and expert analysis throughout the event. We were also proud to have four PTT fighters and ex-fighters on the official refereeing and judging team, continuing to grow their experience and give back to the sport.
A Night to Remember
Overall, it was an amazing night for Pretty Top Team. The energy was electric, and our fighters left everything they had in the ring. Huge congratulations to Caleb on becoming the MTQ Pro North QLD Champion, and a massive shoutout to all our athletes who competed. Your hard work, resilience, and sportsmanship make us proud every time you step into the ring.
Bring on the next one!
